ABOUT JOYRIDE ALGARVE
Joyride Algarve was launched in June 2024 by Oskar and Kinga. We want to share the beauty of the Algarve with visitors through exciting off-road experiences on sustainable electric dirt bikes. Our base is located at Herdade do Funchal, 10 minutes from Lagos and 10 minutes from Luz.
With a commitment to sustainability, we chose electric dirt bikes to leave a minimal footprint and not disturb nature. With us, you can explore wild landscapes without a negative impact.
Join a small group of adventurous people for a fun and memorable experience. Expect a friendly and relaxed vibe at our base, personal attention from our guides, and all the training and tips you need to ride with confidence and joy.
Joyride Algarve is licensed by Turismo de Portugal (Registo nº 753/2025) and insured for all participants aged 18 and over.
Oskar - head guide
Oskar is co-founder, CEO, and head guide at Joyride Algarve. His passion for two wheels started early, in his grandfather's garage. And never really stopped.
Over the years, that passion has taken a few detours. He's a qualified kitesurfing and snowboarding coach and competitor. In whatever time is left, he restores classic cars and surfs.
With 15+ years of off-road experience and 300+ guided tours across the Algarve, Oskar knows every trail, viewpoint, and shortcut worth knowing about.
Funny, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does, Oskar has a way of making complete beginners feel confident and experienced riders feel like they're riding with someone as stoked as they are.

A half-day expedition for confident riders to the Carrapateira cliffs. It’s not a hard enduro, but not a sunday ride either. Join a small group and ride through hills, forest, and seaside trails, with a lunch stop and a battery recharge along the way.
