TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Participant Requirements:

• 1.1 Participants must have completed 18 years of age. 

• 1.2 Participants must hold a valid A or B driver's license 

• 1.3 Participants must be physically fit and in good health to undertake the tour and weigh less than 120 kg/265 lbs (the bikes' limit).

• 1.4 Participants must inform the guide of any medical, physical, or other condition which in any way could affect the running of the tour or of any prescribed medication they take, or may need to take during the duration of a tour. This information will be used to ensure their safety.

• 1.4 Participants are responsible for their own safety and must adhere to all safety guidelines provided by the tour guide.

• 1.5 Each participant must fill in the registration form themselves and confirm that they read and agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Safety Guidelines:

• 2.1 Participants must wear the provided safety gear, including helmets and any additional protective equipment.

• 2.2 Participants must follow the tour guide's instructions at all times.

• 2.3 Previous motorbike experience is not required to pilot the type of bikes used in the Joyride Algarve Tours.

• 2.4 Sobriety Requirement: Participants must undertake the tour with a clear and sober mind. Consumption of alcohol or any intoxicating substances before or during the tour is strictly prohibited. The tour guide reserves the right to deny participation to individuals who appear to be under the influence. The safety of all participants is paramount, and riding under the influence poses serious risks to oneself and others on the tour. Participants failing to meet this requirement may be excluded from the tour without a refund.

• 2.5 The company and its designated representatives reserve the right to disqualify any person as a member of any tour, should such person’s actions or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of other members of the tour. Refunds are usually not given under these circumstances. In such extraordinary instances when a refund is granted, the limit of the company reimbursement will not exceed the cost of unused services.

3. Insurance:

• 3.1 Personal accident insurance is covered.

• 3.2 The Client will be held responsible for any damage due to negligence whilst, in the operation of the surron. If the equipment that belongs to Joyride Algarve gets damaged or destroyed the client needs to cover the cost of repair or equipment replacement.

4. Tour Modifications:

• 4.1 The tour operator reserves the right to modify the itinerary or cancel the tour and exclude any of the participants in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or safety concerns.

• 4.2 Alternative arrangements, money refund, or a rescheduled tour will be offered in such cases.

5. Liability Waiver:

• 5.1 By joining Joyride Algarve Surron Tour, you acknowledge there are risks associated with adventure tourism, like accidents or injuries, involved in biking off-road with electric vehicles. In exchange for being allowed to take part in the tour, you agree not to sue Joyride Algarve or its staff if something goes wrong. This includes accidents or injuries that might happen during the tour. You agree not to hold Joyride Algarve, its staff, or anyone involved in the tour responsible for any harm or damage that might occur.

• 5.2 Participants agree to indemnify and hold the tour operator harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from their participation in the tour.

6. Environmental Responsibility:

• 6.1 Participants must adhere to all environmental protection guidelines provided by the tour guide.

• 6.2 Littering or any form of environmental damage is strictly prohibited.

7. Photos and Videos

• 7.1 Photos and videos may be taken during our tours for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of these photos on our website and marketing materials. If you prefer not to be featured, please notify our staff at the start of the tour.

 

8. Cancellations

• 8.1 All cancellations must be communicated by email or phone more than 3 days in advance to get the refund.
