  • Love Riot 📅 May 23, 2026 📍 Salema Eco Camp Celebrating 20 years of partying, with the mother of all parties, under the trees, near the beach, at The End of the World.

  • DnB Allstars Portugal 📅 May 2026, NoSoloÁgua in Portimão 📍 TBA A three-day and night Drum & Bass festival, featuring top artists, massive sound systems, boat parties, and epic afterparties.


Algarve Events in June 2026


A multi-day dance festival combining workshops, beach socials and themed parties. Focused on salsa, bachata, kizomba and Afro dance styles, it attracts an international crowd looking for movement, music and connection by the sea.

An iconic street party where Carvoeiro dresses in black and white. Live music, DJs and dance performances turn the town into a giant open-air party.

  • Afro Nation Portugal 📅 3-5 July 2026 📍 Praia da Rocha – Portimão One of Europe’s biggest beach festivals returns with Afrobeats, Amapiano, hip-hop, R&B and dancehall — right on the sand. Expect beach parties, international headliners and unforgettable summer energy.

  • Mercado de Culturas à Luz das Velas 📅 2-5 July 2026 📍 Lagoa A beautiful cultural market illuminated by thousands of candles. The streets come alive with concerts, street shows, artisan stalls and food from around the world.


What's going on in the Algarve in August 2026


August is peak summer in the Algarve, packed with festivals, food events and traditional celebrations.

  • Festival do Marisco 📅 Mid-August TBA 2026 📍 Olhão One of the region’s biggest food festivals, celebrating seafood and local flavours with live concerts and a lively waterfront atmosphere.

  • FATACIL 📅 Late August 2026 📍 Lagoa An annual fair showcasing regional crafts, gastronomy, agriculture, and live entertainment — a true Algarve summer staple.

  • Banho 29 📅 August 29, 2026 📍 Algarve Coast A traditional end-of-summer celebration where locals and visitors take a midnight dip in the sea, accompanied by music and festivities along the coast.
