What is an electric enduro camp
Joyride Electric Enduro Camp is an electric dirt bike training focused on your progress and fun. We'll ride the beautiful Algarve with a small crew of cool people, improve your skills, and top up your endorphins for a long time. You do all the things you like — and we do what we do best, so you actually go home a better rider.
Who is it for?
People who love adventure, adrenaline, and holidays that aren't boring. Riders who want to improve their skills and explore wild Algarve trails.

Can you do enduro on electric dirtbikes?
Some people can't imagine real enduro without the sound and smell of 2-stroke. And our hearts warm up when we hear loud "brrap brrap". So, why do we ride electric dirtbikes?
1. Sustainable
For us, no noise and no fumes are an advantage. This way, we can go to more places without annoying people & disturbing animals. We like to leave minimal impact on the beautiful place we live in.
2. Easy to ride
No clutch and no gears, our bikes are perfect for beginners & riders who want to make quick progress in the terrain. Our motos also have various riding modes, enabling you to block & release power, depending on the skills, terrain and rider's comfort.

Travel to and from Lagos — we're happy to help you figure out the best route and transport.

Accommodation — we recommend Casa Fortuna, 4-person apartments in a comfortable villa with a pool and barbecue area, right in front of our gate. From 25 €/night for a place in a shared double room, 50 €/night for a single. Booking is easy — you reserve directly with Casa Fortuna (we'll give you contact and a ready-to-send message), get the quote and pay the manager on arrival. You're free to choose other accommodation if you prefer.

Lunch and dinner — we stop for lunch during the ride, and head out for dinner or fire up a barbecue together.
FAQ
What's the difference between the camp and the weekend?
The 5-day camp is the full experience — five riding days, more progression, a whole week with the crew. The 2-day weekend (Sat + Sun) is a shorter version, perfect if you're short on time or you're local. Same trails, same fun, just fewer days.
Do I need experience to join? For beginner camp, you need to feel confident on a bicycle and ideally have some experience on a scooter, mountain bike, or street motorcycle. If you completed our Rookie tour, you can join :).
Advanced weeks are for riders who already ride off-road and want to level up.
Is it hard to ride an electric enduro bike? Nope — that's the beauty of it. No clutch, no gears, just twist and go. Beginners get comfortable fast, and experienced riders use the power modes to push harder.
What licence do I need? A valid car (B) or motorcycle (A/A2) licence.
How big are the groups? Max 5 riders per group on purpose, so everyone gets real coaching and attention. We need a minimum of 3 participants to run a 5-days camp and min 2 participants for the weekend enduro course.
What if the camp doesn't fill up? We need at least 3 riders to run a week and 2 to run a weekend course. If we can't, we'll tell you no later than 20 days before and give you a full refund or another date — your choice. We recommend booking flexible or refundable flights, or getting cancellation insurance — and not booking non-refundable travel until your camp is confirmed.
What's the bike? The Talaria Komodo — a proper electric enduro machine: 32 kW peak, 754 Nm torque, off-road wheels and suspension. It handles real technical terrain.
Do I need to bring gear? No — full Fox protective gear is included. If you bring your own full gear for a camp, take €200 off the price, and 50€ off the weekend price. You can also buy Fox gear through us (€200 credit if you join the 5-day camp + 10% off the rest; and 50€ credit if you join the weekend + 10% off the rest).
What about insurance? We insure the ride — you insure yourself. You're covered by our accident & liability insurance while riding. You must have your own travel & medical insurance covering off-road riding and repatriation.
Is accommodation included? No, but we make it easy. We recommend Casa Fortuna next to our base (from €25/night) — you book directly and pay on arrival. You're free to choose your own or ask us for another recommendation.
How do I get there? Faro is the closest airport, just 1 hour from Lagos. We can help you organize the travel and transfers from Faro or another airport (Lisbon and Seville are the next closest airports).
What's the food situation? If you stay at Casa Fortuna, you'll have a stocked fridge with breakfast products. We'll provide snacks for the ride and water. For lunch, we stop in bars and restaurants on the trail, and in the evenings we head out for dinner or go shopping and fire up a BBQ together.
How much is it and how do I book?
5-day camp — €2,250 per rider (early bird €2,100 until 30 September). Deposit: €700.
2-day weekend — €650 per rider (early bird €550 until 30 September). Deposit: €200.
To book, just message us on WhatsApp, and we'll sort the rest. Your deposit secures your spot and is fully refundable if you cancel 30+ days before the start; after that, it's non-refundable, unless a documented emergency stops you from coming. You can always transfer your spot to another rider or to a different date (up to 20 days before the start) at no extra cost.
What if the weather is bad? The Algarve gets 300+ sunny days a year, so most weeks are pure sunshine. A bit of rain now and then (in Nov–Mar) usually just makes the trails more fun — we adjust the routes and timing. If a camp is genuinely unrideable, we would reschedule it or give you a full refund — your choice.
